What is a dermatologist?

Dermatologists are qualified doctors who over and above their medical degree spend a period of four years in formal specialist training. All of the dermatologists at Eastern Dermatology are Fellows of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

We provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and management of skin disorders. A referral from a qualified medical practitioner is required prior to making an appointment in order to obtain the maximum Medicare rebate. Eastern Dermatology and Laser also provides cosmetic and medical laser treatments for a variety of conditions.

Eastern Dermatology’s overall goal is to provide the best dermatological care, using a combination of our experienced dermatologists. Our doctors have experience in treating paediatric and adolescent skin issues, women’s skin cancer treatments, and disorders, as well as their general dermatological expertise. All of our expert dermatologists work with each other so that they can offer second opinions when necessary.

Dermatological surgery is done on-site. We have a continuous commitment to use safe, new technology that will enhance the treatments we offer all our patients:
