Dr Leah Wilson
MBBS (Adelaide), FACD
Dr Wilson was awarded her medical degree from the University of Adelaide in 1995 and has been practicing in South Australia since. She undertook specialty training between 1999-2004 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2004. Dr Wilson has worked in private practice since 2005 and has consulted as a visiting Specialist at Flinders Medical Centre. She served as the state Chairperson of the Australasian College of Dermatologists between 2015 and 2017. Leah consults at Eastern Dermatology at Glen Osmond, Belair and Gawler. She has an interest in general dermatology and laser treatments.
Information for new patients
As with all specialist practitioners, appointments require a referral for your General Practitioner or Specialist to claim the maximum Medicare rebate. We welcome all patients and our receptionists will accommodate your needs for an appointment.
- Once you have a referral, phone reception on 8338 2359 to make an appointment.
- Please ensure you bring to your appointment
a) The referral from your GP or specialist
b) Your Medicare card, Department of Veterans card, and/or Pension card.
Medicare will reimburse part of your consult fees, however generally a gap will be required. Full payment is required on the day of your appointment. There may be a waiting period before you are able to see our dermatologists. Urgent cases can be accommodated if a GP or specialist makes a request on your behalf. If there is a spot on your skin of particular concern, please discuss this at the time of making an appointment and we will try and accommodate an early appointment.
